Heather, I love that you love hats! These remind me of Holly Go Lightly..and Audrey Hepburn..so fashionable and fun. Actually, thinking about hats, there was a time that I always wore a hat to a wedding. Sometimes you bought the dress and then the hat to go with it. Other times the hat was so fabulous that you bought it, then found the dress or suit… It was one of those things that one did. It made the occasion special and made you feel so extraordinary. Remind me to tell you sometime where to go in Phila for those one of a kind hats…at a very discounted price! Eileen
Eileen – thank you. I have seen some of the fabulous photos with you in one of your gorgeous hats. Beautiful women in hats always reminds me of you!
You were also the one who taught me about “hat etiquette” – daytime hats doffed at dusk {or 5pm}!
Perhaps women today feel encumbered by the etiquette and opt not to wear a hat, what a shame.
We should create a new post…..well?
Heather
