The Ilee Papergoods desktop calendar is a perennial favorite for design aficionados and always sells out  quickly.  The 2009 Calendar features 12 monthly cards plus one extra year-at-a-glance card packaged in a clear jewel case for display.

The highlights for this year’s calendar include an ancient floral Persian motif for March, glow-in-the-dark ink for June and tea-dyed paper for October.  Eight cards are letterpress printed and the remaining are a mix of silkscreen and foil stamping.

The Ilee 2009 Calendar is available next door at writeonandmore.

A few more Stationery lines that captured our attention:

ille Paper Goods was a definite favorite of ours – we can’t wait to see the 2009 calendar . Eileen especially loved the tribute to Mary Poppins card.

It was refreshing to see so many husband/wife teams – both as designers and store owners. Sweetbeets – out of Canada is one of them. Lisa Zuraw and her husband will probably be very busy fulfilling the many orders I am sure they wrote this week. Sweetbeet’s letterpress designs capture the simplicity of childhood – but with emotion (if that makes any sense – you can almost imagine how these children are feeling).

We also fell for the creative art work of Masha D’Yans. Her new series of blank notecards feature one design for each month. Her interpretations of Santa Claus are the most original I have ever seen.

The ladies of d.n.a. – share workspace in Chicago, but have two completely different design looks. Dana Bowers is the principal of Shimmer Studio and Andrea Burke – Andrea Burke Design.

Shimmer Studio patterns look like they would make really cool tattoos – not that I am at all into tattoos!

We thought this snarky card from ABD was fun:

The {Work Your “Bunny-Tail” Off Award} goes to:Carrot & Stick Press

Each one of these “leopard spots” was cut by hand. They covered every inch of the 3 booth walls- there must have been hundreds!

NOTE – Worthy! (but photo-less):

Press Play Stationery had some seriously cool designs. We like how they incorporated their patterns on wrap, files folders, holder, notecards and journals.

Tiselle letterpress by Tianyi Wang had such incredible detail, especially the Mosiaic Thank You cards – the design looked like needlepoint. The letterpress self-mailers were also a great concept – we expect them to be very well received.

We couldn’t get enough of Bella Ink’s new Photo Card designs. The problem will be narrowing down our favorites!

We loved the packaging Cat Seto used for her notecards. The Tea Notes and Ladies Who Lunch tin will make the most fantastic hostess gifts.

Jill Broadhacker of Jilly Jack Designs houses her fun notecards in clever pouches made from recycled billboards. Each pouch is tied with a striped grosgrain ribbon.

Cecily Ink had some very lovely products – her Card File Box is sure to be a hit!

There were soooo many more wonderful designers and products that we cannot possibly capture them all right now. Check back for updates! Enjoy HH
