They’re Off {Again!}

The backpacks and bucs no longer have a home in the kitchen, although I’m sure by the end of the week  the beach towels and bikinis {the girls, not mine!} will take up temporary residence.

Welcome to the first week of our summer vacation!

I vividly remember writing about this annual phenomenon last year. Interestingly, our plans for the next three months are very much the same as last summer.  Boring?  I don’t think so.  We’ll sneak in some fun activities and a few quick get-aways.  Summer is the time for the girls to actually enjoy being young girls – making their own fun and having  no real plans!
